Going to Disney World in August...what kind of purse/case/backpack should I take?

I want to carry as little as possible because I think you have to check backpacks and purses when you ride rides right?? But I want to carry a camera and a fan...anyone suggest anything that looks cooler than a fanny pack? Is there a small one that will attach to me so that I wont have to check it at a ride?

They check your bag when you enter, but that's it, and it's really fast. We took a medium sized back pack. This way we were able to fit video camera, camera, batteries, keys, pretty much anything we needed we could just stick in here and then switch carrying it. We started off at Sea World trying not to take any bags, just the camera bag, but then we decided a bookbag would make life easier.. OH and bring ponchos in case it rains! it rained everyday and we were so glad we had our ponchos and umbrella!
